Where can I go to get more information about the Project Management Certifications?

What are the prerequisites to take either the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® or Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification exams?

Please visit www.pmi.org and follow these steps to find out what is required to take the CAPM® certification exam

Step 1. Click “Certification” from the selection bar at the top.

Step 2: Under “Which certification is right for you?” select Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®.

Step 3: On the next page, the CAPM Certification Requirements will be listed.

Step 3: On the next page, the PMP Certification Requirements will be listed.

LookingGlass Development is a PMI® Registered Education Provider (REP) and all PDU/Contact hours are submitted through to PMI® through LookingGlass Development. All PRINCE2® and ITIL® courses are developed and provided by  itSM Solutions.  itSM Solutions is a PMI® Registered Education Provider (REP) and all PDU/Contact hours are submitted through to PMI® through ITSM Solutions. The ITSM Solutions provider number is 2626.
Do these courses count towards the 35 contact hour requirement for the PMP®?

Yes, they do.
Are the exam vouchers included with the courses or course bundles?

No, our courses do not include the exam vouchers, those must be purchased separately.

How do I obtain my PDU’s after completing a class?

For Category A Courses:

Step 1. Go to www.pmi.org and create an account.

Step 2: Apply for your required certification by clicking here.

Step 3: Fill out the form to schedule your certification exam.

After completing your certification exam you can now apply for PDUs

Step 4: Log into your account on the PMI.org website.

Step 5: Click “Report PDU” on the left side.

Step 6: From the drop-down list select “PDU Category A”.

Step 7: Select the “Activity Type” drop-down.

Step 8: Click “Next”.

Step 9: Type the provider and/or provider number and locate the activity.

Step 10: Click “Search” to continue.

Step 11: Select “activity number” to continue.

Step 12: Select “Date Started and Completed”.

Step 13: Submit to finish.

Step 14: If reporting other PDUs click “Report another claim” or “Return to PDU Activity”.
For Category B Courses:

Step 1. Go to www.pmi.org and create an account.

Step 2: Apply for your required certification by clicking here.

Step 3: Fill out the form to schedule your certification exam.

After completing your certification exam you can now apply for PDUs

Step 4: Log into your account on the PMI.org website.

Step 5: Click “Report PDU” on the left side.

Step 6: From the drop-down list select “PDU Category B”.

Step 7: Once the amount of PDUs populates, click “Next”.

Step 8: Complete the fields marked with an asterisk.

Step 9: Enter “Program/Title Description”.

Step 10: Enter “Date Started and Completed”.

Step 11: Enter “Hours Completed”.

Step 12: Enter the provider name.

Step 13: Type the number of PDUs earned for the activity for each credential you have.

Step 14: Click “Submit”.

Step 15: If reporting other PDUs click “Report another claim” or “Return to PDU Activity”.
